groundnut
Remarkably hardy vine, unusually sweetly scented flowers (some people don t like them-too sweet). Flowers look like short hyacinths made up of lupine flowers; tight clusters of pink and wine red on the same flower. Spreads by edible underground tubers, doubles in area every 2nd year. Will grow up trellis without any tying.
