A strong twining (tendrils) climber; 6 plants will cover 20 feet of fence by mid-July in their second year in the ground. Can also be used as a (rather rowdy) ground cover. It will scramble over uneven terrain and even climb trees to try for the light. It s an aggressive seeder.
