Baptisia australis

Here, we call this Siberian pea shrub (which it really isn’t). It blooms for about 3 weeks and is followed by handsome seed pods – great for dried arrangements. Spreads quite fast in good soil, but will grow anywhere. Also a plenty aggressive seeder. It s striking used as a perennial hedge.
