This is an aggressively self-sowing annual that can be grown for it s amaranth-related seeds. It s main attraction is the leaf color at terminal ends when young: it s really unusual. As with all lamb s quarters, it s a fine spinach substitute when the leaves are young. It can get to 8 tall if allowed.
