| Oriental poppy
Fuzzy leaves, very large, paperlike flowers. They are traffic stoppers! Dried seedheads are useful in arrangements. They rarely look wonderful when you buy them in in pots (deeply resent transplanting), but they ll look great in your garden after that first season of sulking.
